Mottram Cricket Club is my cricket club. I joined just after the 2005 Ashes Series as a captivated 9 year old, facisinated by the sport.

Since then, I have gone on to be a committee member, player and fundraiser, helping to grow the club from a small village club with two senior playing sides and a dwindling member base, to a strong, propering club cricket side, now with over 5 senior sides.

Over the last 4 years in particular, I have helped to grow the club off the field too, helping to:

• Develop a new website, complete with online store for kit and event tickets.

• Build an email database and send out regular emails to members, sponsors and supporters.

• Overhaul the clubs exisiting membership structure, and implemented a new standing order, added value model.

• Raise thousands of pounds through fundraising events, secured grants and attracted sponsorship
